Things you should know before you get started

  • most textbooks use either McCune-Reischauer or the Revised Romanization (which is also the official romanization system of South Korea)
  • if some books don’t have tapes coming along, try to check out the publisher’s website: They often offer free download of the audio recordings
  • sometimes there is no answer key provided
